Ford F150 SuperCrew vs SuperCab

One of the greatest aspects of the Ford F-150 is all of the options available. Depending on whatever you need in your next pickup, the F-150 more than likely has it in one of its trim levels or available features.

At Internet Auto Boise, we wanted to compare the Ford F-150 SuperCrew vs. SuperCab, so that our drivers in Boise, Meridian, and Nampa will know exactly what they need when deciding on their next F-150.

Ford F150

To start us off, let’s take a look at the biggest difference between the SuperCrew and SuperCab: passenger space.

Space Options in the F-150 SuperCrew vs SuperCab

When you’re looking for your next F-150, of course you’ll want to consider cabin space. You’ll need to decide if you’d like to add a second row, and just how much space you need for your backseat riders.

Both the F-150 SuperCrew and SuperCab offer seating for six, so you can utilize your truck for work carpools or to take the family on vacation. The SuperCrew offers 43.9 cubic feet of legroom, while the SuperCab offers a little less, at 33.5 cubic feet. Either way, your passengers will find their rides comfortable and spacious.

F-150 SuperCrew vs SuperCab Door Differences

Another big difference between the F-150 SuperCrew and SuperCab are their second-row doors. When you’re deciding between models, one of the options you might want to consider is how easy it’ll be for your backseat passengers to get in and out.

The SuperCrew has two full sets of doors. That means there’s four individual doors, each opening and closing on their own without having to open one door first.

Ford F150The SuperCab, on the other hand, has two rear partial doors. So, the driver or passenger will have to open their door in order for these doors to open. Either option works just as well as the other. It just depends on what kind of space and accessibility you’re looking for.

F-150 SuperCrew vs SuperCab Trims

You might also want to consider which F-150 trims the SuperCrew and SuperCab are on, so you can decide if the other options on those trims will work for your pickup needs.

The SuperCab is available on the F-150 XL, XLT, and Lariat trims. So, when deciding what you’re looking for in your next truck, see if these trims match, and the SuperCab might be your go-to.

The SuperCrew, on the other hand, is available on all F-150 trims, and comes standard on the King Ranch®, Platinum, and Limited, so you’ll have plenty of options if this is the model for you.
